In our daily lives there will be occassions we need to sacrifice. There will even be periods in our lifeline that we will have to sacrifice. I have learn alot about sacrifice. I know so many people who have sacrificed for me in diverse ways, known and unknown.

Some people have made these sacrifices for us sometimes without our knowledge.

I have learnt that a call to duty involves sacrifice and one may not get rewarded. In fact we must understand that true sacrifice does not expect reward. True sacrifice craves for impact and positive results spanning generations. We must not expect commensurate reward. It is however natural to seek that our sacrifices bear fruits and not veinless.

Where we can, we must do our best to sacrifice for the advancement of country and Humanity.

May this Eid ul Adha remind us of the gift of sacrifice and may we be able to live to accomplish Allah’s Plan.

Eid Mubaarak.
