Jukwa Senior High and technical School (JUKSEC ) in the Lower Denkyira constituency has been presented with a 64-seater bus to end its years of struggle with transportation.
This was procured by the government through the Education Ministry and it was presented to the school by the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, and Deputy minister for employment and labour relations Hon. Lawyer Bright Wireko- Brobbey.
He said it was a demonstration of the government’s commitment to education development. Hon. Lawyer Bright Wireko-Brobbey added that it was eager not only to ensure that there was access but the provision of the needed logistics and the right environment to enhance the quality of teaching and learning. Dignitaries who accompanied the MP was Mr.Francis Asare constituency treasurer (Deputy regional director DVLA), Aliu Abudu Sumaila (constituency Youth organizer), Chairman TT Tweneboah and eminent chiefs of Dankyira traditional area.
The MP reminded the school management to see to it that the bus was properly maintained, to prolong its life span and gave them some token to fuel the bus for the mean time.
