The Inter-Party Resistance (IPRAN) group has announced that it will join forces with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Wing for it ‘March for Justice’ protest next week.

The ‘March for Justice’ is a planned protest by the youth wing of the main opposition party inspired by the happenings in Ejura-Sekyedumase that saw the killing of two civilians and several others injured.

Ahead of the massive protest on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, the Inter-Party Resistance group has in a press release dated June 2 indicated that it will be fully represented when the NDC youth wing hits the streets.

“The Inter-Party Resistance, IPRAN has observed with great concern and utmost distraught the recent growing spate of insecurity, mostly perpetuated by the state security with government backing.

“We have also followed the discourse on the recent brutalities and have decided to throw its full support behind the NDC Youth Wing in the organisation of the ‘March for Justice’ scheduled for Tuesday, 6th March, 2021,” part of a release from IPRAN signed by convener Bernard Mornah has said.

The group says it cannot sit unconcerned and close its eyes to the abuse of the rights of the citizenry and the subtle attempts by the inept and insensitive regime to continue to perpetuate political atrocities and injustice on the country’s young and fragile democracy.
