Asante Kotoko have ended their Dubai pre-season tour and are headed to Ghana.

The Porcupine Warriors spent two weeks in the United Arab Emirates, and during that period intensified preparations for the upcoming season.

Kotoko played three friendly matches against third-tier clubs in Dubai and recorded no victory.

They lost their first game 1-0 against Al-Hilal.

In the second game, new recruit Stephen Amankonah scored but it was not enough as Kotoko were held 1-1 by Liwa FC.

Kotoko played their final game on Thursday against Laliga Academy HPC. The match ended 1-1.

Kotoko are expected to arrive in Ghana on Friday evening.

The 2021/22 season will commence next weekend. Kotoko will open their account against Dreams FC in Dawu.
