The much anticipated Akro unity games between the Millennium Club and the Elephant Warriors masterminded and wholly sponsored by the Ledzokuku Constituency 2nd Vice Chairman, Mr. Clifford Martey Korley at the Ford Schools park yesterday,2nd January 2022 was not only successful but has been the talk in town.
The program saw massive attendance way beyond imagination and comprehension ranging from Constituency Executives to Aspirant, Party members from various polling stations and supporters of the respective teams.
Wepa! Wepa! What a picturesque extravaganza of sportsmanship displayed by both teams. At the end of the fierce contest both teams had equal score in the card playing competition.
Mamma mia! What an arresting exhibition of football skills displayed by both teams yesterday. It ended 3:2 in favour of the Millennium Club of NPP.
Both teams were presented a brand new set of Jerseys for the games and some price money.
The Millennium Club took home 800.00 cedis as participation and transportation fees, 250 cedis from drawing in the playing of card and 300.00 cedis plus the trophy for winning the football game.
The Elephant Warriors took home 800.00 cedis as participation and Transportation fee, 250.00 for drawing in the card game and 200 cedis for placing 2nd in the football game.
It taketh only a pragmatic leader to organize such games, fostering unity between these two pro NPP clubs. This aura made this unity possible. Akro is united for victory come 2024.
