Muslim in Ahafo Appeal to Veep to Include Ahafo in his Brong Ahafo Tour during Ramadan.

A group of faithful Muslims in Goaso and Kukuom are passionately appealing to the Vice President, Dr Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia not to exclude the people Ahafo when he tours Brong Ahafo.

The Veep, is reported to be starting a nationwide tour during the month of Ramadan visiting Muslims. In a sighted itenary on social media, the schedule of the tour by the Veep starts in Brong Ahafo with stops in major towns and cities in The Brong section of Brong Ahafo. *There is no indication of the Veep visiting any town or city located in the Ahafo enclave.* This observation has led to many people in Ahafo, asking why the people of Ahafo have been sidelined although the tour is to Brong Ahafo.

Some are suggesting that, this is an oversight and that the advisors to the Veep will rectify the anomaly.

‘The Muslim community in Ahafo are eager to share some time with the Veep and we hope he will come to visit us, we are all part of Brong Ahafo’,
Nana Kareem of Kukuom said.

Jofi Sulley calmly said ‘We are are not spectators in Ahafo, we are Muslims and citizens of Ghana. If the tour excludes Ahafo, why do you say Brong Ahafo Tour?

Ahafo News observed that most mosques in Ahafo are more busy with members participating in this year’s Ramadan.
