The New Patriotic Party is a democratic entity which stands for development and freedom.

In our quest to progress our society, we all have values, principles and different approaches to problem solving.

I believe that I have a strong desire and commitment to serve mother Ghana and have showcased the possibilities of what can be achieved through my pragmatic approach to issues.

In my quest to be retained as the Parliamentary candidate, i passionately have been working consistently within the community for the last four years to ensure that the ideas of our party are brought closer to the people.

I have no regrets in my methodology of pragmatic solutions.

I strongly believe that these consistent efforts have prepared a stronger base for our party to innure to our benefit.

When I took over the mantle as parliamentary candidate, we were gaining 18092 votes in 2016, but we moved to 20927. A significant margin.

It is this improvement that i believed I could increase to help snatch the seat from the jaws of the NDC come 2024.

I had been beset with a plethora of challenges since becoming a candidate and I never wish that those challenges be faced by any parliamentary candidate.

I have tackled and averted these challenges already. Upon the declaration of the winner, I wholeheartedly and openly went out to shake and congratulate the new Candidate. Thereafter, I went publicly and accepted the results and my defeat and congratulated the winner again. I strongly entreated all my supporters to support the new leader.

I have done the above so as to ensure the new leader has no obstacles and can start working ASAP.

Let no losing aspirant waste the winners time with reconciliation meetings. He has won the primaries and all hands must be in deck to aid him.

I take this opportunity to confidently say that, although it may seem that I failed to be retained, my work over the last four years at the grassroots level has prepared a fertile base for the party.

I have called my Regional Chairman, Regional Secretary, Constituency Chairman, Constituency Secretary to thank them for organising the elections in Anwiam on Sunday, 3rd December 2023.

Congratulations to you Hon. Aduse Poku, (NPP PC, Asunafo South, 2024)

God Bless our homeland Ghana.
