A devastating accident involving a taxi cab occurred in the bustling town of Ahafo Nobekaw on Saturday evening, April 4, claiming the life of a pregnant market woman and leaving the community in mourning. Eyewitnesses report that the vehicle’s brake failure led to the fatal collision, reigniting urgent calls for improved road safety measures in the area.

The tragedy unfolded in the evening near the Nobekaw Sankore Junction, a hub of activity during evening trading hours. According to multiple accounts, the taxi, lost control as its brakes reportedly malfunctioned. The driver, unidentified struggled to steer the vehicle before it veered
