As part of activities to celebrate Christmas with the youth in Tano North, Hon. Freda Prempeh has organized a week long football gala for 30 teams in the constituency.
They played the preliminaries in all the five zones. Hon. Dr. Freda Prempeh, Foana Consult, some Elders and some Tano north constituency executives were at the Duayaw Nkwanta Roman Park to witness the knock-out for the 4 qualifying teams After the preliminaries, these teams qualified for the knock out stage, and adrobaa fc and bk stars qualified for the finals.
The gala is currently underway and Adrobaa FC and BK stars of Duayaw Nkwanta is set to play the final match this afternoon at 3pm, at the Freda Prempeh Astroturf, near koforidua, Duayaw Nkwanta. Hon. Dr. Freda Prempeh is grateful to Foana consult, NLA, Vision sports and Special Ice for supporting the tournament. She thanked all participating teams, professional referees and the spectators for the massive support.
She used the occasion to advise the youth and also thanked them for their support over the years. She donated a set of jersey, football and an undisclosed amount to the participating teams. She notified them of the presence of the scouting team to scout for talented players.
She was highly impressed about the zeal, enthusiasm and professional level of play. We look forward to an exciting final match this afternoon.
