The President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa on the 13th of September 2020, outdoored and Endorsed Hon Ing. Kobby Amoa-Mensah as the Parliamentary Candidate of the NPP in Asunafo South amidst ecstatic supporters in Sankore and Kukuom.
The scenes in Asunafo South were scenes to behold and not to be told.
The road from Kamirekrom, Mfrehkrom, through Kukoum, Noberkaw, Kwapong to Sankore were filled with large numbers of people jeering to support the President and his team who had come to tour Asunafo South and more importantly outdoor the Newly elected Parliamentary Candidate (Him. Ing. Kobby Amoa-Mensah) for the constituency.
The euphoric cheers emanating from the crowd signified that, indeed the people of Asunafo South are content with the good works of the President Akufo Addo led administration and were ready for a New Member of Parliament.
Present to support the President to Outdoor and endorse his Parliamentary Candidate were Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, Former Members of Parliament,
Regional Executives and Constituency Executives.
The Ahafo Regional Minister Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie acknowledged the presence of government officials including Hon. Asomah Cheremeh, Hon. Dan Botwe, Hon. Adutwum, Hon. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Hon. Asenso Boakye, Hon. Owusu Akoto Afriyie, Hon. Amoako Attah, Hon Freda Prempeh and Hon Sekyere Yeboah amongst many who had come to show their support and witness the NPP Parliamentary Candidate’s endorsement by the President.
The Ahafo NPP Regional Executives led by Chairman Owusu Sekyere were also present with the District Chief Executive and Constituency executives of Asunafo South.
Nananom including were also cladded in their beautiful traditional regalia to commemorate the occasion.
The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo outdoored Hon. Ing. Kobby Amoa-Mensah to the world and endorsed him by indicating that Asunafo South needs a gentleman such as Ing Kobby Amoa-Mensah to help bring Peace to Asunafo South and accelerate development in the area.
Nana Addo Dankwa indicated that he needs the Calibre of individuals like Hon. Ing. Kobby Amoa-Mensah to accelerate the development of Asunafo South and for that reason pleaded with voters to elect Him as their next Member of Parliament.
This message from the President whipped the the mammoth crowd into cheers, jubilation and dancing.
Hon. Ing. Kobby Amoa-Mensah is a Civil engineer by profession and prior to being elected as a parliamentary candidate was a one term Assembly Assembly member in the Kukuom-Abromamu- Beposo-Tanoso electoral area.
He has worked extensively in the building and road sectors and studied civil engineering at the University of Leeds, University of Birmingham, Delft University. He also has completed MBA Finance at Central University and a 3rd year law Student of Central University. He is also professional member of the following institutions
