The President of the Republic of Ghana on the 18th May, commissioned a new administrative building sited in Kukuom, Asunafo South during his tour of the Ahafo Region.
The commissioned project is an abandoned project which started twelve years ago and literally abandoned during the last eight year .
The President indicated his commitment to complete on going projects to aid the development of Mother Ghana.
The commissioning of the Health directorate was witnessed by key traditional rulers and government officials.
In the commissioning of the project, the staff of the District Health Directorate showed their appreciation of the new building.
The Project Engineer of Reliable Shelter Ltd, Engineer Kobby Amoa-Mensah indicated that the project was built by Reliable Shelter at a cost of approximately 370 000 Ghana Cedis. Nana Frimpong, the Project Operations Manager of Reliable Shelter highlighted the need for building contractors to avoid shoddy work.
The building was Commissioned by the President and a plaque unveiled thereafter with the support of Nana Kwaku Aterkyi II (Omanhene of Kukuom) and Nana Abena Saah ( The Omanhemaa of Kukuom).
