Former Asutifi North Member of Parliament Hon. Joseph Benhazin Dahah has thrown his support behind Hon. Booba's bid for Ahafo NPP Regional Chairman. He commended Booba's leadership, experience, and commitment to uniting and strengthening the New Patriotic Party in the Ahafo Region.
Former Member of Parliament for Asutifi North Constituency (2013–2021), Hon. Joseph Benhazin Dahah, has officially endorsed Hon. Robert Sarfo-Mensah (Hon. Booba) for the position of Ahafo Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Hon. Dahah, who served two consecutive terms in Parliament, described Hon. Booba as the most experienced and strategically positioned candidate to lead the NPP in Ahafo at this critical stage of the party’s rebuilding process.
According to Hon. Dahah, Hon. Booba’s 12 years of parliamentary experience gives him a unique understanding of government, national budgeting, and local development. He noted that Hon. Booba speaks with authority because he has firsthand knowledge of how public resources are allocated and how to effectively advocate for the interests of the Ahafo Region.
“Hon. Booba does not speak from speculation; he speaks from experience. His years in Parliament have equipped him with the knowledge and credibility needed to provide effective leadership for our party,” Hon. Dahah stated.
Hon. Dahah further emphasized that Hon. Booba’s experience in electoral organization and voter mobilization makes him the ideal candidate to strengthen the party’s structures ahead of the 2028 General Elections.
Having successfully contested and defended his parliamentary seat three times, Hon. Booba understands the importance of strong polling station structures, effective voter registration, and strategic grassroots mobilization.
He also praised Hon. Booba’s strategic patience and mature leadership, describing him as a leader who carefully studies political developments, responds with wisdom, and focuses on long-term electoral success rather than short-term political excitement.
Hon. Dahah further described Hon. Booba as an organizational architect committed to ensuring that every polling station, electoral area, constituency, and regional executive becomes active, functional, and focused on continuous party organization and membership expansion.
He therefore called on all delegates to vote for proven leadership, experience, and unity by electing Hon. Robert Sarfo-Mensah as the next Ahafo Regional Chairman.
