The Minister of Defence, Dominic Nitiwul has reiterated that the news Joynews released on 20th March 2018, is false and misleading therefore he is calling for an apology.

The American did not and has not ask Ghana to establish a base or bases in Ghana. This is a 20 year old agreement that was signed in 1998tp use facilities in Ghana.”Nitiwul lamented”.

In response to this issue, the U.S embassy has also released a statement denying the allegation.
