The festive season is here, and the people of Sankore have taken it upon themselves to organize a grand homecoming this Christmas. This is a time for the natives of Sankore to come back home, to reunite with friends and family and to enjoy the warmth and love that comes with this season.

Sankore is a town in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo region in Ghana. It is a town with a rich culture and tradition, and this homecoming is aimed at celebrating and preserving that heritage. The homecoming promises to be bigger and better, with natives from far and wide coming to join in the festivities.

Nananom, political heads, and opinion leaders have all pledged their support for this event. They have emphasized the need for peace in Sankore and beyond, especially in the upcoming general elections. As a united people, we hope that this homecoming can serve as a platform for promoting and maintaining peace in our community.

Several activities have been lined up for the homecoming, including a massive clean-up exercise and float, a FIFA PES 5 competition, a soccer competition, educational and entrepreneurship seminars, a lecture on conflict and its effects on society, musical live bands, and an artist night. These activities have been carefully selected to cater to the diverse interests of the people and to ensure that there is something for everyone.

One of the key features of the homecoming is the fundraising effort to provide street lights and dustbins in the community. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the cleanliness of the town and improving its general outlook.

The maiden edition of the homecoming is scheduled to take off from 27th December to 1st January and promises to be a memorable one, with sankore natives coming together to celebrate our culture, promote peace, and strengthen our bonds as a community.
