The Mother Ignacia School well known for its beautiful brick architecture which is located in Goaso and sited on the scenic hills has chalked another mark success again as a leading school in Ahafo capital.
Following her core values of Faith, Excellence and Service the school aims at nurturing faith, developing character for excellence and service to society. Therefore, apart from challenging its pupils to develop academically, it provides extra-curricular activities towards holistic formation.
Thus, on March 28, the school once again attracted delegations from Ahafoman and beyond to witness the investiture of its first batch of fifty (50) Scouts as members of the World Organization of Scout Movement. Dignitaries such as Religious and Church leaders, Director of Ghana Education Service, Asutifi South District, the Police and Fire Service Commanders as well as representatives of Goaso Traditional Area, Senior Scout Commissioners, benefactors and parents were all present to support the occasion and encourage the new members to remain disciplined and faithful to the Scout Laws in order to become patriotic agents of change in society.
The new Mother Ignacia School Scouts presented a beautiful parade and guard of honour which was inspected by the dignitaries present.
There were scout activities also that well entertained parents and guests during the occasion.
