Mother Ignacia School had its cultural day celebration on the 31st of May.
As early as 6:15 in the morning, pupils and staff started arriving in colourful traditional cutting across the geography of Ghana. .
Parents and guardians were not left out of the showcasing of cultural expose. They announced their presence with pride traditional Ghanaian attire showing the diversity and rich culture of Ahafo and Ghana.
The entire campus was brisk with activity and the colourful and festive mood was infectious.
The cultural program started at 10:00 am with presentations from Nursery to Basic six students.
The program included:
Traditional welcoming of visitors in the home; Voice choir on unity, Traditional songs, Traditional Games and symbols;
Ghanaian Festivals and cultures, cooking of traditional food, and many more.
All these presentations were to educate parents and guest on the beauty and values of Ghanaian tradition. It was a wonderful celebration.
CULTURE was at its best and truly Mother Ignacia School is promoting Ghanaian to its students.
