Mother Ignacia School is a school which is always looking out for the best for its students.

In light of this, the school engaged the services of a Road Safety Consultant to develop a new policy for its school bus scheme. This is to improve roade safety of all its all pupils.

Aware of the current spate of road accidents and reported kidnappings of both young and old, the Headmistress, S. Paulette Maria Goretti Ankrah, sought the advice of Ing. Kobby Amoa-Mensah who is a Certified Road Safety Consultant to develop strategic policies to ensure the safe transportation of pupils to and from school for all. Modes of transport.

All stakeholders were oriented, from bus scheme drivers to teachers and parents.

During these workshops, responses to questions posed by Ing. Amoa-Mensah such as: “Who are the most important road users? Who uses the road? clearly gave the impression that many are not aware that everybody has an equal right on the use of the road as long as it is properly used. It was truly an education on safety and to also ensure the comfort of the users school bus scheme.

In his presentation, the Road Safety Consultant praised the administrators of the school for taking Road Safety of pupils serious and adviced other schools to follow the good example of Mother Ignacia School.
